Hope sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible. -- Anonymous
4/23/04 Magnus, along with sister Kissin' Kate, went to a new foster home last week to make room for the Milo Five pups. As it turned out, that was the best thing that could have happened. Eric and Natalie feel in love and now they are at their "forever" home...and they get to stay together. The adoption will be finalized tomorrow.
Here are some pics of Kissin' Kate and Magnus together (with some of them wrestling).

3/14/04 Magnus has been learning agility and truly enjoys it. He is very treat motivated and follows commands easily, awaiting that scrumptious reward. His sister, Kissin' Kate has recently rejoined him in foster care and they are having a great time playing together. Here are some pics of Kissin' Kate and Magnus together (with some of them wrestling).
1/11/04 UPDATE: He's so amazing in all that he does, even though he is sight impaired. His favorite toys are ones that make noise. He faithfully plays with a few balls that make noise when they roll, and he has a water bottle with beans in it, so it rattles when he plays. Sometimes he will play with a "silent" ball, but soon loses interest in it, or just loses the ball :-). Magnus really enjoys being with his humans and wants some loving and cuddles in the mornings, even before they've had their morning coffee (I guess he must be really irresistible). He already knows sit and down, and will wait in those positions for a few seconds. Magnus knows his name and will come running to you when called. He is very easy to "correct" and understands his "boundaries" and respects them. When his foster mom goes to feed the horses, he knows that he is not allowed on the other side and the gate, so he sits and patiently waits until "mom" is done with her work (unless, of course, he is distracted for a game of hide and seek through the agility tunnels by another canine). Although Magnus is not a big chewer, he certainly is a chow hound who will eat anything, including lettuce! He is very easy going and understands doggie language when he is being too rough or it's time to quit.

11/18/03 Magnus is a Lethal White Red Merle male born on October 16, 2003. He is vision impaired, but his hearing is fine and he gets around quite well. He, along with his siblings, had his very first vet visit today. Magnus weighs 5.2 lbs. and is a very healthy young pup. He has been bottle fed since he was 1 day old. Magnus will receive his first booster vaccination on 11/28 and his next two boosters will be given in 3-week increments. Before going to his forever home, he will be neutered and current on vaccinations. Magnus will be available for adoption after January 16, 2004.
